THE LIBRARY'S ONLINE CATALOG   Did you know you can view, from home, what titles are at the library?  You can see what's new, what's in, what's out, put a reserve on an item, make a request for a title, look at your patron account, renew things, and let us know how you want to be notified!  How cool is that?

To log in to your account, you need your account number and a correct phone (with area code).

OVERDRIVE is available through the Augusta Library!! Patrons can download audiobooks and eBooks to thier Kindles, Nooks and other eReaders, phones, mp3 players, ipods, ipads and more.  DOWNLOAD one of their Apps (Overdrive Media Console OR Libby) on your device or go to http://smdl.lib.overdrive.com on your PC to get started or click the link to the left.

FREE WI-FI   AT THE AUGUSTA LIBRARY ... Look for the BrightMonkey connection on your device and use the password 'library1'.  Our wifi is available 24 hours a day.

INTERLIBRARY LOAN INFO   The Augusta Library is a member of MeLCat, the statewide catalogue and sharing system.  As a patron in good standing, you can access the catalogue and request to borrow books from other libraries right from your home computer.  Simply go to mel.org (the Michigan ELibrary website) and click on the link to MeLCat.  It will take you directly to a search page where you can begin browsing for the titles you want.  Or, your can access the search page directly at http://elibrary.mel.org/search.   When you find what you are looking for, look for "GET THIS FOR ME" and click on it.  The system will then want to know what library you are from (we are listed under Augusta-Ross Township) and then your name and patron ID (your library account #).   That's it!  If the item is available, you should get a message immediately that it has been ordered.  You will get an email and/or phone call when your item has arrived at our library!    WE ARE STILL HAPPY TO ORDER THINGS FOR YOU RIGHT FROM THE LIBRARY, so give us a call if you need at 731-4000.
